THERAPY TECHNICAL ASSISTANT – CYNTHIA SPENCER HOSPICE
BAND 4
22.5 hours week – either over 3 or 4 days

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Specialist Palliative Care Therapy Team based at Cynthia Spencer Hospice, 22.5 hours per week (occasional cover at Cransley hospice).
This post would suit a Technical Therapy Instructor, who is keen to develop specific palliative care skills, whilst contributing to the holistic assessment of patients.
You will be based with Physiotherapy and OT colleagues in the heart of this friendly hospice, and will be a key member of the inpatient unit and community hospice team.
Excellent communication skills will be required to work with people who have life-limiting conditions and often have complex emotional and psychological needs.You will receive clinical supervision, relevant training, peer support and appraisal to support you in your role.A full driving licence will be required.
