Since 1948 we have offered a warm welcome to children made vulnerable by their severe social, emotional and mental health difficulties. We offer children care, therapy and education. Every child in our care receives love, support and a chance to develop.

- Cleaning and looking after all the indoor areas of our site: keeping the whole place clean, tidy and homely.
- Supporting and encouraging children and other staff members to care about and care for the houses and buildings.
- Being part of the school community.
This work can be very challenging: our children express themselves through their behaviour which often means damage and mess. Our children need us to stick with them however hard it gets.
The therapy we offer the children needs a whole team, whole community approach. You will be expected to attend meetings, talk openly with colleagues about relationships and feelings and at times cope with some very challenging experiences.
To apply for this position, you need to attend a visit on site before we shortlist for an interview. This is so we can tell you more about how we work and what the job involves.
