Transform Healthcare Holdings are currently seeking a competent and experienced part time Theatre Porter within our prestigious Pines Hospital located in Sharston, Manchester.

Applicants must be physically fit as duties include moving and handling patients by wheelchair/theatre trolley to and from ward/theatre areas, transporting theatre consumables, to collect ordinary and clinical waste and laundry and place in appropriate collection bins, identifying any used sharps, disposing of them following the appropriate guidelines and recording as necessary.

Previous healthcare experience would be highly beneficial, along with experience and understanding of theatre procedures; including hygiene processes. Excellent interpersonal skills are required.

Applicants must be prepared to work every Saturday and Sunday, 12.5 hour shifts. There will be enhanced pay of 30% for Saturday and Sunday working.

This post is subject to a DBS disclosure at enhanced level and Hep B vaccination status - which will be paid for by the company.
