POSITION SUMMARY

Estee Lauder Companies are looking for a talented Creative Operations Lead to join their in-house creative studio, ELC Studios. Based in London, ELC Studios operate across the full portfolio of ELC brands in the UK market.

This role will lead the ELC Studios Creative Operations team in executing the strategic plan, by refining the operating model, establishing priorities and determining resource allocation for efficient and effective delivery of all projects.

The role will require a rigorous review of processes and tools to identify opportunities to provide an enhanced end to end programme and exploring new opportunities to create value for our brand partners.

This role is a leadership position within our department, requiring positive team culture contributions including mentoring, supporting, and motivating and management of internal stakeholder as well as external communications.

Responsible for a team of Producers, Production Assistants, and Coordinators - ensuring operations are running efficiently whilst driving productivity and team culture.

  • Working closely with the Studio Director to set strategy, manage resources and establish processes/ workflows in order to produce and deliver quality work from concept to completion across full service production across all end uses (in-store, social, online, TVC, print, DOOH & OOH)
  • Effectively leading the Creative Operations team, driving team growth and development to deliver best in class operations
  • Works with the Brands and stakeholders to understand business drivers and prioritizes delivery to maximize business benefit
  • Effectively managing change throughout the project lifecycle – monitoring, assessing and implementing the agreed change control process where required
  • Manage and communicate all potential risks, mitigate potential issues
  • Manage all feedback sessions ensuring lessons learned, identified and distributed
  • Drive the brand and studio budget management process
  • Drive demand planning and forecasting to manage growth
  • Drive the adoption of correct tooling and system customization to increase the efficiency of delivery processes
  • Develop strong relationships with both the brand and the studio team, ensuring that potential opportunities are identified and shared
  • Creative approach to problem-solving with the ability to focus on details while maintaining a “big picture” view
  • Responsible for understanding business targets and effectively managing costs, achieving against specific targets
  • always Maintaining regular brand and team meetings and where relevant 3rd party communication ensuring that all methods of communication identified are provided when agreed
  • Develops the Creative Operations team through relevant training and line management ensuring strong performance, clear personal development and good succession planning

  • Planning for the department’s future needs of creative operations, hiring, performance management, salary decisions, talent planning
  • Recognizes organization-wide linkages and interdependencies, ensuring alignment with overall brand priorities

  • Swiftly mobilizes team to meet changing demands

Budget Responsibility –

  • Accountable to ensure creative operations team are working within the confines of the brands budgets and are seeking planned savings required for region
  • Constantly reviewing model in partnership with IP & Finance leads

Qualifications


WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO BE SUCCESFUL IN THIS ROLE:

  • 8+ year’s experience in delivering / producing creative production briefs at global campaign level
  • Educated to Degree level or have relevant experience in their appropriate discipline and management experience.
  • Experience of working in a Digital Agency environment running and strategizing the operations
  • Management/Supervisory experience
  • Hands-on Design & technical background a bonus
  • Working knowledge of web technologies
  • Proficient in project management methodologies example Prince 2, Agile
  • Proficient in Project management tools, advantageous Jira, confluence, Tempo, all Mircosoft tools
  • Knowledge of Adobe Suite and file formation structure
