Oakland Hotel is looking for a Caretaker to be part of our team!
What we are looking for:
We are looking for a responsible and dedicated Caretaker to be responsible for the general care and maintenance of the apartment community. The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic person who enjoys working in a team environment and maintaining positive resident relations. The goal is to enhance resident experience by providing top quality services. Caretakers should be able to follow instructions and respect property rules. Should have good communication skills and be able to work with other team members.
Responsibilities
- Ensure that residents’ needs are always met
- Assist residents with getting their medication at the front desk
- Assist with getting needed documents from management to the units
- Maintain office and property files
- Report any changes in resident condition to management; notify on changes in health status or condition that may affect safety or security
- Assist residents with getting their belongings out when they leave. Take them out of the community in the morning and at night.
- Assist with any necessary repairs or maintenance that may be needed for the property or units
- Provide top quality customer service to residents and visitors
- Communicate with management about any problems or matters that may affect the health, safety, security or other interests of residents or visitors
- Complete other tasks given by Management
- Willingness to learn new skills and technologies take trainings from management on a regular basis
Skills & Qualifications: Must be 18 years old or older. High school diploma required. Must have valid Driver’s License. Must not have been convicted of DUI in any state. Must not have been convicted of OUI in any state. Must not have been found guilty of DWI with alcohol or drug-related charge. Must not have had a suspended driver’s license in the past 5 years. Must not own a vehicle that is unsafe or cannot pass safety tests. Must not have been convicted of OUI or DWAI in any state. Must not have been found guilty of DUI/DWI/Fleeing after accident in an accident-prone area. Must not own a vehicle that is unsafe or cannot pass safe test. Must be able to lift 25 pounds without assistance. Must be able to work during storms/seas/weather as needed. Valid driver’s license from Chelmsford required.Valid driver’s license from Chelmsford required.Must be able to pass Department of Transportation background check.Must be able to pass drug test.Must be able to pass DMV record search.Must speak Spanish/Portuguese/Korean/Vietnamese/Portuguese well enough to communicate with other staff members.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £10.60-£14.20 per hour
