About us : We are specialists in Fluid System Design and manufacturing in the Motorsport (mainly F1) market and we are currently looking to expand our team. We require a Test Technician who will be based at Woodley factory. This is a pivotal role in the business and a great opportunity for the right candidate to progress in the business.
Responsibilities
Pressure Testing
- Pressure-test all completed fluid-transfer assemblies as part of Production Acceptance Testing.
- Ability to use multiple pressure-testing machines at a time.
- Pressure testing tooling management – determine requirements, monitor condition, request replacement / new tooling if required, efficient storage.
- Take full ownership of pressure testing area & role.
- Look for & recommend any improvements.
- Ensure all activities are carried out in line with Company QA Procedures.
Packing
- Pack products after end-of-line (EOL) inspection is complete.
- Use the approved packing materials & methods.
- Check the packing materials & product.
- Ensure highest quality of package presentation.
- Work in-line with the Account managers’ requirements.
Skills & Experience
- Ideally from a workshop Quality and Inspection background, with understanding of importance of maintaining and promoting highest quality.
- Ideally have sufficient engineering & workshop experience / training to underpin this role.
- Motorsport/Engineering experience is an advantage, but not essential.

Overtime
Due to the distinctly seasonal nature of motorsport design & production requirements, there are corresponding periods of very high workload during the year.
For the workshop, the current highest workload period is December to March, although the start/end of this period may change in the future. During this period a reasonable level of overtime is maybe required as part of the role.
