Job description
Abatec is recruiting for an Electronics Inspector / Test Technician for our successful market leading Manufacturing company based in Chippenham.
Working within a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility, the technician will have previous experience and a good understanding of transformers, coils and inductors.
As an Electronic's Inspector you will:
- Work with a range of electrical apparatus and equipment to test incoming product to ensure they meet specification
- Liaise and work closely with your supervisors to organise and priorities work towards production deadlines
- Read and follow Engineering drawings
- Use a variety of hand tools and electrical equipment
- Inspection and testing of products
- Have excellent attention to detail
Our client requires an Electronics Inspector with:
- A strong background in Electronic /Electrical Inspection or similar
- Previous experience in inspection and quality documentation
- Full experience in reading and understanding Engineering drawings
- Experience of using a variety of hand tools and electrical and/or mechanical equipment
- Experience of working in a fast paced manufacturing environment
