Test Manager, £ 65000 - 75000 + car allowance + 20% bonus + excellent benefits. 100% Home Based.

Market leading financial service company is looking for a Test Manager to join their team. In this key role you will be responsible for preparing and maintaining the organisational test strategy, managing test projects and programmes and overseeing and reporting on all test related issues to support a continuous delivery and improvement approach. Effectively you will lead all test activity and manage all stakeholders. The role sits within Change Management.

This role does not include line management of the testers within the business but you will work with and manage the test strategy and projects across the organisation. You will build and embed frameworks and drive continuous improvement.

Key accountabilities include -

* Ownership of the organisational test strategy.

* Ensure all testing projects are considered and documented and cover scope, scale and approach.

* Lead, organise and undertake test planning activities within allocated workstreams.

* Analyse functional, non-functional and technical specifications.

* Produce test estimates, test plans and test scripts as required.

* Participate in peer reviews.

Qualifications and experience to include -

* Proven experience in a similar Test Management role (you must have led a test function).

* Experience of defining test plans and executing test cases for customer facing solutions and back end systems.

* Experience of both manual and automated testing.

* Previous hands-on experience of writing and executing test cases.

* Appreciation of core test automation concepts.

* Experience of standard development and test tool sets and framework (Microsoft development environment).

* Knowledge of agile and waterfall environments.

* An understanding of Postman, Selenium, Newman, daily execution, etc.

This is a new permanent role (replacing a contractor) and will give the successful candidate the opportunity to lead and improve the test environment. Your work will be recognised and it will be a rewarding challenge. To be considered you will have performed a similar Test Management role and will have strong technical skills.
