Job description
Introduction
Our client is looking for a methodical and results-driven test analyst to identify and apply test procedures to ensure product quality. As a test engineer, you will be required to assess the functionality and feasibility of computer hardware and software or infrastructure to ensure that any flaws in the system are eradicated in order to provide product excellence.
You should have a passion for detecting and solving problems. An excellent test analyst has in-depth knowledge of software development or Infrastructure development, hardware development or automation development, superb analytical skills.
This role is full time (5 days a week) on site within Cheltenham or London.
Key responsibilities
- Review software, automation, infrastructure, and hardware scripts.
- Identifying products to be assessed in the review process.
- Running diagnostic and system testing and presenting the information to the relevant stakeholders.
- Test data and document each cycle.
- Liaise with the software, hardware, and infrastructure team.
- Running diagnostics.
- Improve business applications.
- Gather user requirements.
- Coordinating with the development team.
- Test Analysis.
Skills & experience
- A minimum of 1 year’s experience in test analysis
- A proven record of experience working with computer software and coding or programming.
- Knowledge of software or Infrastructure or hardware or automation development.
- Excellent analytical and diagnostic skills.
- Experience in test techniques.
- Efficient planning skills and an ability to adhere to deadlines.
