About the role…
We now have an exciting opportunity to join Airbus Defence & Space as a Test Analyst , supporting our Connected Intelligence team. The Test Analyst will be a varied and absorbing role where you will be able to demonstrate and develop your interrogation, analysis and investigation skills.
Working within the Engineering community, you will provide expert guidance on the quality and viability of a range of exciting solutions.
The IV&V (Integration, Validation & Verification) function is a critical element to the Engineering team, providing analysis and consultation skills on a huge range of technologies and real-life solutions.
How will you contribute to the team... .
liaising with users of solutions to gauge their needs and get feedback and recommendations on operational effectiveness.
defining various scenarios that put the solutions through functional and non-functional tests, and executing these under controlled conditions with reliability and accuracy at all times.
maintaining a library of testware, datasets, results and evidence for further analysis and reference.
sharing your observations confidently with peers and others, contributing actively to solving problems and finding ways to progress
understanding standards and regulatory compliance, helping to assure conformance to best-practice and provide quality governance
Required Skills and Experience
A good level of experience testing both UIs and non-UI applications and services
Demonstrate a working knowledge of JIRA or a similar Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) tool
Possess strong experience of testing based on Agile methodologies, with scrum team experience
Possess ISTQB CTAL certificate
