Job description
Medtrum UK develops and commercialises innovative solutions to improve the lives of people with diabetes. The company led to the development of a series of revolutionary products that completely changed the way the diabetes is treated.
The company is currently looking for an exceptional Territory Sales Manager to join their team. The successful candidate will report directly to the UK Business Manager and will be responsible for developing and executing the sales strategy and training requirements across the Midlands; with an emphasis on acquiring new customers and identifying growth areas.
Role Objectives:
· Manage and develop sales territory with existing and new customers, including clinical and non-clinical stakeholders
· Meet and/or exceed against sales targets set each fiscal year
· Deliver market share capture as measured by new user throughput and initiation of new centres using Medtrum products
· Deliver on quarterly objectives set with UK Business Manager
Duties and responsibilities:
· Identify new business opportunities, develop strategies, and programs to maximize market share across the defined sales area.
· Identify and report on new business opportunities throughout the defined sales territory.
· Establish and maintain successful relationship with key new and existing customers and end users across the territory.
· Delivering high quality training for patients that are starting on Medtrum products.
· Provide regular updates and reports to the UK Business Manager, including entries into CRM, expense submission and related administrative tasks in a timely fashion.
Therapy and Market Knowledge
· Understand and sell effectively within the local business model and stakeholder framework.
· Proficient disease, therapy and product knowledge and leveraging said knowledge in selling situations with clinical and non-clinical stakeholders.
· Basic proficiency health-economics, reimbursement and tender processes, with potential to influence key decision maker criteria for impactful outcomes.
· Understanding of competitive knowledge, including key messaging and positioning.
Selling Skills
· Uncover and develop stakeholder needs, both for clinical and non-clinical stakeholders, including benefit-based solutions and effective handling of stakeholder objections.
· Develop and influence key decision making criteria in favour of Medtrum therapies, including resolution of objections and concerns.
· Understand, interpret and sell with clinical data to impact key decision making criteria with different stakeholders.
· Set call objectives, perform post call analysis and plan/document next steps for calls on accounts and related stakeholders.
Candidate Profile:
Required:
· Entrepreneurial mindset, courage and can-do attitude.
· A winner’s mentality is a must.
· Sales experience in medical industry, preferably related to diabetes business.
· Excellent communication skills.
· A strong presenter and relationship builder.
· Self-motivated with ability to work autonomously; Excellent sales and business development skills.
Preferred:
· Sales experience in the insulin pump and/or continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) market
· Sales experience in the diabetes therapy field with a knowledge of disease state and related therapies with competitive knowledge.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £3,500.00-£4,500.00 per month
