What about your role?

As a DHL Supply Chain Driver, you will be playing your part in keeping the world moving by safely and efficiently delivering goods to our customers. We need you to:

• Experienced yard shunter using new electric Terberg units. Brand new contract
• Nights available on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern 12 hour shifts - overtime available on 5th and 6th shifts
• Nights 18:00-06:00
• Enjoy working as part of a successful team
• Drive in a safe and efficient manner in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
• Comply with our health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to The Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations
• Join DHL Supply Chain at a brand new site at Cross Point Business Park, Coventry CV2 2TA

What are the requirements?

• Hold a valid HGV Class 1 Driving Licence (C+E), Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card
• MUST have shunting experience -approx 100 trailer movements over a 24 hour period
• Excellent communication and team working with other yard shunters and the transport team
• Flexible to additional shifts to cover peak periods, holiday, sickness etc....
• Brand new electric tug units so pride in your vehicle is required
• No shunting experience necessary, full training provided to the right candidates
