X 2 Tenancy Support Worker
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our diverse and friendly Accommodation and Support Team for two full time Tenancy Support Workers . We are looking for enthusiastic individuals who are committed to providing an excellent service to our homeless and at times vulnerable customers within the Temporary Accommodation Team.
The focus of the role is to prevent homelessness, we want to provide safe accommodation helping and supporting people to manage their temporary tenancies, which may lead to a permanent successful tenancy in the future. The ideal candidate will enjoy both working on their own and as part of a team, in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where no two days are the same. The successful candidate will have experience or awareness of housing support needs for vulnerable people, and issues that lead to homelessness, you must understand the importance and benefits of working in partnership with internal and external providers
We are a small, dedicated team who cover (on a rota basis) our Temporary Accommodation sites, we work remotely and out in the community. The successful candidates would need to be comfortable travelling around the city and working with vulnerable people on their own, and with the support of the team.

All successful candidates will be required to complete an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service Check.

Full-time employees work 37 hours for 52 weeks of the year and we offer a generous holiday entitlement. We are open to discussions about a wide range of flexible working opportunities, which benefit you and the Council.
You may be required to work from various sites in the city to meet the needs of the service.
For our daytime service, we operate hours between 7.45am and 5.00pm on a rota basis , Monday to Friday, excluding weekends and bank holidays.
