Job Description
Temporary HR Administration Assistant
The Role
Working term time within an educational setting alongside the Payroll & HR Officer, you will be responsible for the processing of HR admin for employees across all sites.
Working on site in Basildon, Essex you will be contracted for 35 hours per week Monday - Friday and potentially needed until July 2023.
The HR & Admin Assistant will also be responsible for aspects of HR administration as detailed below.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Monitor HR email and deal with employee queries
- Deal with HR post on a daily basis
- Process all New Starters, duties include creating and sending Starter Paperwork, seeking references and chasing completion
- Process all Leavers
- Process Staff Absence forms, ensuring that staff attendance records are accurate and up to date at all times, including filing of documents into staff personnel files.
- Monitor staff absence, identify trigger point and arrange necessary meetings.
- Create daily absence report and record absences in MIS system
- Undertake typing and word processing and other admin-based tasks
Ideal Candidate
- Previous HR / Admin experience within an educational or other organisation,
- Excellent communication skills
- High organised and able to work on own initiative
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft word

This position is available to start immediately paying up to £14.00 per hour.
