Our growing, creative family business is seeking a highly perceptive, enthusiastic, and driven individual to assist over the busy Christmas period.We are on the lookout for a temporary picker packer during our peak Christmas time. The contract would run until January 2023 with a view to potential permanent further work in the future.Throughout Christmas shifts will be split to reduce face to face work due to COVID. The first shift will be 7am-3pm and the second is 3pm-11pm. During the busiest period weekend shifts will be required to keep the processing of orders flowing. Shift patterns are flexible and be discussed at the interview stage.Your main responsibility would be ensuring orders are packed and dispatched on time. You would also be required to communicate with other teams to ensure customer orders are produced and dispatched in a timely manner. We are able to provide any necessary training required.Skills needed:⦁ Excellent attention to detail⦁ Ability to work in a fast paced environment⦁ A fun friendly personality with a 'can do' attitude⦁ Confidence working as part of a close team to complete daily targets⦁ A willingness to learn and support other departments when neededDaily tasks will include:⦁ Packing customer orders to ensure they arrive in a presentable fashion⦁ Ensuring orders are prioritised according to order dates⦁ Communicating closely with other departments in order to resolve customer order and design queries⦁ Training on other departments to assist during busy periods if neededJob Type: Temporary contractContract length: 3 monthsSalary: £7.49-£10.42 per hourBenefits:Employee discountOn-site parkingSchedule:8 hour shiftCOVID-19 considerations:You will be working at a socially distanced desk, with limited people around you.
