Telesales Advisor - Swindon

This is an exciting opportunity available for a Telesales Advisor to join our team in Swindon. Joining us on a full time, permanent basis working 39 hours per week, you will receive a competitive salary of £20,600 with an OTE upwards of £30,000 specialising in the retail of quality home furnishings at affordable prices. You will be required to work most weekends and Bank Holidays.

As a Telesales Advisor you will achieve maximum sales and profitability, both individually and at company level by presenting merchandise to the highest standard possible and ensuring customer needs are fully met. You will also project a professional personal image. To take responsibility for self-development and present innovative ideas.

Key responsibilities of our Telesales Advisor:

  • Answering all inbound phone calls with a positive and engaging manner
  • Converting initial enquires into sales by listening to our customers and matching products to their requirements
  • Communicating with existing and potential customers, ensuring they are aware of our bespoke services and products
  • Meeting individual targets and contributing to team targets
  • Managing your own diary to follow up on potential customer leads

What we are looking for in our Telesales Advisor:

  • Previous contact centre experience, ideally from a sales background
  • Experience of working to targets and KPI’s
  • Strong ability to actively listen and identify windows of opportunity to sell/upsell
