About Your Opportunity
LV=GI have a fantastic opportunity for a Telephone Account Manager to join the LV Broker Distribution team. You will be working within an agile team as a homebased employee.
The Telephone Account Manager will provide account management and the development of a panel of business partners, promoting the LV=GI products and proposition by building and maintain strong business relationships with the relevant managers in the partner organisations (existing and new) to ensure alignment of goals and delivery against plans
Your Focus:
Develops and maintains high-level management relationships with the senior personnel within the account base to deliver profit and growth in line with the Corporate Plan targets. Creates accounts plans and manages performance against plan, taking corrective actions where required.
Design and implement account strategies for growing existing accounts and acquires new business from prospective partners.
Provides regular reporting, feedback and market intelligence, as required by the company, within agreed guidelines and format. Provides market and competitor information as and when required
Develops, communicates and implements the individual broker and/or panel plans to deliver in line with the Corporate Plan targets. Engages supporting teams regularly to maintain focus.
Develops strong relationships with the partnership(s) (existing and new customers) and key personnel to fully understand their business, trading models and organisation structure in order to negotiate strong commercial outcome and facilitate appropriate internal stakeholder engagement.
What We're Looking For
You will have previous experience in business to business relationship/account management, and experience managing or participating in high level relationships. A background in General Insurance and/or Broking is desirable.
You will have experience of working with cross-functional teams to achieve customer profitable growth objective with the ability to develop and implement customer strategies
You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex or technical information in a simple way. You will enjoy problem solving, and when required, have the ability to influence and negotiate to achieve great outcomes.
You will have excellent planning, organisational skills and the ability to produce, understand and interpret statistical information. You will have the ability to deliver accurate work under pressure against agreed deadlines with.
You will have knowledge of FCA Regulation and Broker governance procedures
