Job Description
U.S. Bank is seeking a Senior Telecommunications Specialist with voice and data implementation and
maintenance experience to contribute toward the success of our technology initiatives. Under general
supervision, responsible for evaluating, implementing, coordinating, and supporting installation and maintenance of existing and emerging telecommunications technologies. Provides expert knowledge of cabling designs and installations. Provides technical leadership to other team members. Assists with establishing telecommunications practices and procedures documentation for internal department use.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- At least 6 years’ experience with telecommunications platforms and the global, regional, and local telecommunications architecture and infrastructure components.
Cisco VoIP Specific Requirements
- Experience programming the following systems: Cisco Call Manager – phone system Cisco Unity Voicemail Cisco Voice Gateways 224 / 310 – analog devices, Jabber for Windows – softphone l
- Amazon Connect Specific Requirements
- Amazon Connect
- Kinesis Call Recording
- NICE Engage Call Recording
- Genesys Call Center System Specific Requirements
- Genesys Call Center
- Verint Call Recording
- Dynamic Contact Center Manager (DCCM)
Preferred Skills/Experience
- 3-5 years’ experience fulfilling move, add and change requests on Cisco VoIP, Amazon Connect
- Phone, softphone, voicemail, and fax line programming
- Single end user training on phone and voicemail functionality
- Order and facilitate the installation of phone sets, including coordination with field technicians
- Cable installation, patching and voice cross connect and cost estimating coordination with cabling vendor
- Maintenance of number tracking database (2nd Nature)
- Experience with ServiceNow workflow management system (request, incident, and change Modules)
- Microsoft Office product capabilities – Outlook, SharePoint, Teams, Excel, Word etc.
- Excellent English speaking, writing and communication skills
- Ability to manage a large volume of requests at one time (30 – 40) while meeting 5-day service level.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role.
