Job summary
As a Teacher of English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) you will be required to provide English lessons to foreign students at one or more of our summer camps and adhere to all relevant company safety and safeguarding policies.
We are looking for:
· Friendly, energetic, enthusiastic communicators with the ability to relate to young people
· Teachers able to plan, prepare and teach lessons from the recommended syllabus
· Excellent knowledge of English
· Preference is given to applicants with prior experience but it is not essential.
· Applications welcomed from second and final year university students
You must:
· Be eligible to live and work in the UK (we cannot assist in any way with work permits or visas)
· Be able to commute to one of our locations (or, where possible, stay on site) for all or nearly all of the camp duration
· Have or be able to obtain satisfactory enhanced clearance from the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS). We will apply for a DBS with your permission, but this will be at your cost, deducted from your salary.

Teachers are required at the following locations
Worksop, Notts from 9th July
Ipswich, Suffolk from 9th July
Woodbridge, Suffolk from 9th July
Woking, Surrey from 9th July
Times
Morning lessons are from 9:30 to 1:00
Afternoon lessons are from 2:30 to 6:00
Students stay on site with group leaders (from their host countries) and attend one of the English lesson sessions and have activities (archery, air rifles, quad bikes …) in the other slot and in the evenings. You will not be required to assist with the evening activities. Activity sessions are given by our activity leaders who usually stay on site.
Teaching days are normally but may vary:
Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday Students go on excursions on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Excursion destinations depend on the host camp location – typically London and Cambridge for the Suffolk camps, for example. You will be able to go on excursions where coach capacity allows.
Please note - If staying residentially with us, all meals and the accommodation can be provided for £56 per week, deducted from your monthly pay.
Students are aged 8 to 17 but predominantly 13+ and mainly from France, Italy or Spain.
There will be approx 15 students per class.
Parking is available at all locations.
