The opportunity


The purpose of the global EY organization is to Build a better working world. The insights and services the organization provides help to drive long-term value for clients, people and society and to build trust in the capital markets. An essential function under EY Business Enablement, Supply Chain Services (SCS) is a global team with more than 600 professionals in over 35 countries supporting the EY organization across the globe. This structure helps enable knowledge-sharing across categories and regions, streamlining efforts in seeking innovative suppliers that can provide exceptional client service to maximize SCS’s value for the EY organization and the world's supply chain.


A key component of SCS is Technology, Talent, Alliances and BMC (TTAB) SCS, whose purpose is to drive significant synergies and value creation from sourcing to contract lifecycle management, deliver exceptional client experiences and build more vital collaboration to manage Technology, Talent, Alliances and Brand, Marketing and Communications (BMC) spend categories. We forge meaningful supplier relationships and strengthen supplier resilience to help EY maximize long-term value for its people, clients and communities.

As an Engagement & Messaging intern with TTAB SCS, you will have the opportunity to support the People Engagement and Change Management team under TTAB SCS Strategic Enablement. You will work with the People Engagement and Change Management Lead to plan and execute clear and effective team messaging, communicate a consistent message of team brand and strategic initiatives and projects for stakeholders, contribute to change management communication campaigns and tool and process rollouts, and seek opportunities to strengthen the TTAB SCS brand both internally across EY and in the market for an overall exceptional employee experience.


Your key responsibilities


  • Craft engaging internal and external communication content, including but not limited to newsletters, EY news articles, videos, web content and PowerPoint communication and marketing materials
  • Support with preparation, design and execution of teamwide virtual calls and live events
  • Act as touchpoint for branding support, ensuring team members are aligned with EY brand identity, guidelines and principles
  • Support in the development, design and maintenance of tool and process training materials
  • Plan and execute team social wellbeing sessions and activities to drive team engagement
  • Manage the creation, distribution and analysis of team member and stakeholder satisfaction surveys
  • Design and content maintenance support for team intranet site(s)
  • Act as a trusted business advisor to TTAB SCS team members and EY stakeholders
  • Ad hoc project tasks and responsibilities as required


Skills and attributes for success

  • Excellent communication and networking skills – must have the ability communicate in English effectively, transparently, and timely across multiple mediums (email, voice, IM, etc) in a global environment

Ideally, you’ll also have


  • A strong interest in strategic communication, people engagement, marketing and/or brand strategy
  • Excellent oral, written communication and presentation skills in business English
  • Experience with a global, culturally diverse organization
  • Experience working collaboratively, virtually and independently
