AB Agri is an innovative provider of animal feed and nutritional technical expertise to the agriculture sector. Technology change in manufacturing technology, behavioral and predictive analytics, remote sensing, financial and commercial collaboration are a rich source of possible adoption by AB Agri – and you will be identifying those opportunities that best fit our businesses.

This new role will help to deliver a pipeline of new tech into the business that will provide AB Agri with competitive advantages by leading the sector.

What you'll be doing:

• Identifying, surveying and analysing technology opportunities emerging in the agriculture and industrial sectors for adoption by AB Agri.
• Qualify of the technology via financial and operational benefits forecasting, vendor stability and expertise, and curation of a pipeline of opportunities for review by the businesses.
• Build relationships with prospective vendors and helping to form collaboration with industry partners, via trade shows, technology user groups, vendor and product launches etc.
• Work with the AB Agri Architecture team to test the viability of adoption of new technology and interactions with the existing suite of systems and solutions.
• Create and present business cases to the ISD and senior leadership teams throughout AB Agri of effective, supportable and exciting technologies that will have a direct affect on our bottom line, or provide competitive advantages in other areas.
  

• Competent in deep-diving into technologies to identify the core capabilities that lie under the vendor's commercial presentations.
• Ability to build strong relationships, comfortable attending events and networking
• Inquisitiveness to the role, able and willing to challenge vendors on the detail of their offers, to get the best outcomes for AB Agri.
• An ability to organise several pipelines of opportunity at various stages of qualification, and to immerse yourself in the world of agricultural technology and spot cross-over technologies.
• A professional, business focused mindset.
• Full driving license
