Job Overview:
As the Marketing Technology Manager, you'll be a key player in the Marketing Team, driving the technical capabilities of the department across all digital channels. Your expertise will support the company's growth objectives by streamlining processes, optimising data capture, and enhancing the client journey through marketing automation and client relationship management integrations. Here's what you'll be doing:
- Manage the overall marketing technology eco-system (platforms, systems, tools) as the resident expert and technical owner, collaborating with the Tech team and external providers when needed.
- Lead the practical implementation of a marketing platform, with HubSpot likely taking center stage.
- Build, maintain, and optimize the marketing technology stack to improve the overall effectiveness, performance, and client journey.
- Ensure seamless integration and maintenance of various Google suite products used by the marketing team for campaign research and execution.
- Provide technological support for marketing data capture and acquisition strategies, including cookie strategy and preferences.
- Collaborate with Marketing Managers to measure campaign effectiveness and analyze results.
- Act as an expert resource to marketing, guiding the custom development and integration of marketing technologies.
- Attend sprint reviews with the Tech team, representing the marketing team's interests.
- Lead the procurement of new marketing technology solutions.
- Oversee training and user adoption of marketing software, providing technical support and resolving technology-related issues.
Here are the skills you'll need:
- Minimum of 4+ years' experience in procuring, implementing, and optimising marketing technology solutions.
- Excellent knowledge of marketing automation and email marketing platforms, such as HubSpot, MailChimp, and more.
- Hands-on experience with Google Suite products, including GA4, Google Tag, Search Console, and Data Studio.
- Good working knowledge of Dynamic365 (CRM) and the D365 Ecosystem.
Practical experience in HTML and JavaScript would be a plus.
- Strong understanding of the commercial drivers for the business and the ability to adapt marketing technology to drive success.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
- Self-motivated individual with a great sense of ownership and accountability.
