Job Description Summary
The Chief Information Office Group Services and Security (CIO GS&S) is providing the backbone and infrastructure upon which this bank of the future will sit.

And as our Business Platform Connector you'll build, own and nurture the relationships to help align our Platform agenda identifying synergies, efficiencies and priorities.

You'll be the face of Change for Business Platforms and their Labs or Programmes; engaging directly with the Business Platform Leads (BPLs) & Technology Platform Leads (TPLs) from the various labs and Programmes to ensure alignment.

You'd account-manage demand across the feature teams within the labs, and work alongside the Leads to prioritise the backlog, providing insight on Service and the IT impact of prioritisation decisions.

You'll get to work closely with strategic suppliers to drive further agile engagement and delivery improvements.

And you'll have a Service Management lens, specifically regarding driving continuous improvement by applying lessons learnt from IT Change.

How you’ll help us deliver
  • You'll be the face of Change for Business Platforms and their Labs or Programmes; engaging directly with the Business Platform Leads (BPLs) & Technology Platform Leads (TPLs) to ensure alignment.

  • And you'll have a Service Management lens, specifically regarding driving continuous improvement by applying lessons learnt from IT Change.

The approach you’ll bring
  • Confident and visible, you'll have the gravitas and presence to act as the point of escalation for the squads of infrastructure colleagues to ensure timely troubleshooting and resolution within the lab environment.
  • Embedded within the Business Platform working alongside the BPL and TPL to proactively ensure that we're achieving value for customers and the Bank.
  • You'll be accountable for multi-functional squads and decisions to scale up or down to meet future demand, building the knowledge and relationships across the function to engage the right teams at the right time, whilst aligning to the overall infrastructure strategy for the bank.
  • Someone who has a curiosity for identifying and delivering improvements which enable the delivery of key outcomes to meet the Banks strategy, sharing learns and success across our platform teams.

The essentials we need to see in your application
  • Strong portfolio and 3rd party management experience, demonstrating strong issue resolution and influencing skills
  • Background in technology infrastructure, having had end to end visibility of change delivery
  • Experience working within an Agile team with evidence of delivery roadmap planning, and cross team collaboration
  • Team leadership and the ability to deliver under a changing, complex landscape whilst continuously looking for improvement opportunities

Salary: £65,000-95,000
The salary advertised is for London, if you're applying to work in one of our regional hubs the weighting will vary.
