Germanna Community College is seeking a part-time Testing Services High Tech proctor to administer testing services to test candidates using the authorized Pearson VUE Testing Center.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
- Proctors Pearson VUE, Certiport, GED, CLEP, Career Readiness and Automotive Services Exam (ASE)
- Administers academic tests and placement tests for High Tech Testing candidates
- Provides administrative support by creating professional and courteous correspondences between test vendors, examinees, faculty, staff and students
- Generates daily reports; research student records; enter research data in Excel; complete daily task reports
- Provides excellent customer service and provides requested information or refers to the appropriate department
- Ensures all computers have updated software for each test
- Perform other duties as assigned

- Associate degree or equivalent experience
- Customer service experience in a high-volume environment
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Experience working with a diverse student population
- Excellent computer skills; intermediate experience in Microsoft Office 365
- Must be able to work with minimal supervision and as part of a team
- Ability to learn applications quickly
- Complete certifications within 30 days of hire date
- Commitment to working with diverse colleagues, students, and community members
- Demonstrable commitment to promoting and enhancing equity, inclusion, and diversity
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
- At least one year of experience administering and proctoring GED and Pearson VUE exams
- At least one year of experience working in a post-secondary educational environment
- Pearson VUE Certification
