The Lab Technician position is full time Wednesday to Friday from 6:30 AM - 4:30 PM and every other weekend and will cover our San Francisco office and is a great opportunity for a recent college graduate with a degree in a lab science.

Job Responsibilities:
- Perform semen analysis to include sperm count, sperm motility, sperm morphology, viability, leucoscreen and anti-sperm antibody testing
- Lead running the analyzer, ordering supplies for it, ensuring Levy Jennings is done, and supporting the andrology lab by taking back patients, doing SAs, IUIs, Cryos.
- Perform routine sperm preps for inseminations and cryopreservation
- Assist the physician in exam rooms with inseminations
- Maintain accurate, current cryopreservation records
- MESA/TESE procedures
- Perform hormone assays utilizing the automated Siemens Immulite 2000 system or Centaur XP
- Interpret hormone results
- Perform and maintain records for all study protocols
- Trouble-shoot the Immulite 2000 and Centaur XP systems
- Escort patients to collection rooms
Skills & Requirements
- BS in a chemical, physical, biological, or clinical laboratory science
- Minimum six (6) months’ laboratory training or experience in a clinical lab
- Ability to work independently, demonstrate good judgment and remain composed in a high standard environment
- Excellent listening/counseling/interpersonal, and communications skills required to manage sensitive patient situations properly
- Must be resourceful, well organized and detail oriented with excellent follow up and computer skills
- High energy, excellent interpersonal and multi-tasking skills, and demonstrated self-directed work ethic are required.
- Regular weekend rotations and travel to Basking Ridge, NJ when needed is required.
