About the role
We are seeking to employ a Technician to give indirect or direct support to teachers delivering the Science and PE curriculum. The overall aim of this role is to participate in raising and maintaining standards of education for our pupils. This role would be under the direction of the Senior Science Technician and would be split across the two faculty areas; 60% of the time in Science and 40% of the time in PE.
37 hours per week, 39 weeks per year. This is a permanent position.

Who we are looking for
A good standard of education, including literacy and numeracy
GCSEs or equivalent in Sciences and Maths
Good communication skills
Well organised and capable of organising equipment etc.
Ability to relate well to a wide range of people within the Academy’s community
Cheerful disposition with a good sense of humour
Ability to prioritise jobs
Ability to work cooperatively within a small team
