Summary:
We are seeking a Revit Technician for our construction industry client for their Civil & Structural Engineering team. You will play a vital role in enhancing our client`s capabilities across various property and construction disciplines.
Responsibilities:
- Produce drawings, schedules, and other production documents using AutoCAD
- Collaborate with engineering technicians and engineers to develop models and create general arrangement drawings, sections, and structural details
- Coordinate with architects, building services engineers, and professionals to ensure accurate development of models, drawings, details, and schedules in accordance with design requirements
- Apply expertise and attention to detail to ensure completeness, accuracy, and proper detailing of civil and structural engineering drawings
- Take responsibility for reviewing your own work as well as work produced by others, including external consultants, sub-consultants, and contractors, to ensure quality and accuracy
- Adhere to document management and quality assurance procedures
- Complete work within specified timelines, program constraints, and budgetary considerations
- Periodically conduct site survey work, such as measured building surveys
Required Experience and Skills:
- Preferably ONC or HNC or equivalent qualification in Building Structures or Civil Engineering
- Previous experience working in a design office
- Familiarity with building structure projects in the UK
- Proficiency in using AutoCAD and Revit Structure Software
- Experience in new build and refurbishment projects involving structural steelwork, reinforced concrete, masonry, and timber
- Ability to estimate the time required for preparing drawings and meeting deadlines
