Job description
- Create technical content such as online help, knowledge base articles and process documentation
- Gain expertise installing, operating, and maintaining SOTI products
- Work closely with product subject matter experts globally across several lines of business; Product Management, Sales Engineering, Technical Support and Education Services to ensure quality and accuracy of content
- Evaluate the documentation needs for all SOTI products by researching, estimating, planning, and tracking documentation projects
- Work directly with Senior Technical Writers to collaborate and influence outputs
- Follow SOTI technical style guide and process procedures
- Manage intake requests, quality check outputs and test online channels for user experience
Experience You’ll Bring:
- 3 - 5+ years’ experience in technical writing, or a similar discipline with proven results
- Strong technical aptitude is a requirement. For example; software/programming environments, IT Management, SaaS, Mobile Apps, Telecommunications
- Knowledge of DITA, Oxygen XML Editor, and GIT are assets
- Ability to express complex information in a clear and concise manner
- Comfortable with global remote team working environments, and global cross team collaboration
- Experience working in Agile-Scrum software development methodology is an asset
- Experience in mobile, Cloud, client-server is an asset
- Knowledge of Enterprise Mobility Management or Mobile Device Management
- A self-starter with the ability to take direction well and a willingness to participate
