Position Summary
Reporting to the Senior Strategic Marketing Technologist you will assist in these Objectives:
Providing high-quality technical documents to best represent Murata Products
Provide customers with technical support
In this role, you will:
- Resourcefully create technical documents
- Engage with engineering, marketing teams, and customers, to ensure understanding of technical requirements
- Be willing to go the extra mile to achieve goals and objectives, such as delivering documents accurately and on time.
- Work with the Marcom team to upload and maintain the datasheet and application notes on the website, new product launches, etc.
- Update product life cycle status indication on website datasheets
- Be a self-starter collaborating and problem-solving
- Prepare technical articles pertaining to power supply products and related technology
- Assist in the preparation of PowerPoint preparations for competitor analysis, Market trends, etc.
- Have a basic understanding or ability to quickly learn Murata power supply target market applications (Networking equipment wireless communications, computing, industrial, E-Mobility)
Job Duties/Responsibilities
- Create and maintain:
Development specifications
Datasheets
Application notes
- Provide technical support for and application guidance for MPS products
- Assist internal teams in developing new opportunities in a technical manner
- Provide technical marketing input for new product developments (NPI)
- Create training material to support sales teams
- Create technical content for use on social media
- Perform Competitor Analysis
Experience Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent education and/or experience, or 3-year technical diploma (BSEE)
- Basic Electronic knowledge AC/DC Design experience or repair/bench/test/manufacturing experience is beneficial
- MSWORD, Adobe Creative Cloud, PowerPoint experience
- Ability to condense and summarize vast amounts of test data, standards, and customer documents
- Ability to learn, adapt, and understand Murata power product features and function to be able to provide technical support
- 2-3 years’ experience involving sales & technical customer engagement related to power electronics
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Familiarity with target markets. i.e., Wireless infrastructure equipment, telecommunications, networking, wireless amplifier, computing, and industrial
