Roles and responsibilities:
- Work with the network solutions architects and provisioning team.
- Develop and document including but not limited to the installation procedure and technical guides for our knowledge database.
- Research, plan, write, edit, update and maintain documentation.
- Generate and validate online help systems.
- Contribute to and follow the documentation processes, standards, templates and style guides.
- Contribute to the creation of effort estimates for new deployments.
- Ensure accuracy and appropriate terminology.
- Deliver according to project plans and commitments.
- Ensure commitments to customers are met in a timely manner.
- Foster teamwork, promote unity and resolve conflict where necessary.
- Ensure to follow the inbound orders and distribute amongst the team based on their workload.
- Follow change requests and making sure delays are respected.
- Analyze the team workload capacity so we could better organize the incoming orders.
Your profile
- Knowledge of the structure and content of the English and French language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition and grammar.
- Ability to create accurate, relevant and complete documentation for any given audience and product.
- Ability to adapt to changing requirements, scope and schedules.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and assess priorities.
- Ability to create estimates for information development work.
- Ability to be a goal-oriented self-starter and work independently.
- Ability to demonstrate a commitment to quality.
- Ability to demonstrate an eye for detail.
- Ability to effectively communicate with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to effectively multi-task and work under pressure.
- Ability to create work plans.
- Ability to deliver clear and effective presentations.
- Any networking certification or equivalent to CCNA, Network A++.
- Written and verbal communication skills.
Assets
- Knowledge of RouterOS for Mikrotik.
- Knowledge of ServiceNow and the Knowledge base module.
- Work experience with a LMS system.
- Knowledge of Meraki equipements.
- Knowledge of OpenMesh and DATO.
- Knowledge of VeloCloud SD-WAN equipements.
- Knowledge of Fortinet routers
- Be able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Fluent in French and English
