About the Role: Wills Consultants are currently seeking an experienced Assistive Technology Trainer. Our client specialises in providing technology to customers with visual and learning impairments in both the workplace and educational settings.

The Technology Trainer will be responsible for undertaking an initial short assessment to ascertain the appropriate technology for the individual, and then deliver training to a high standard following the companies’ guidelines.
You will be responsible for managing your own schedule, therefore flexible approach to working hours is required.
Due to the nature of this role, we are looking for candidates who have security clearance.
Requirements: The ideal candidate will have previous experience in teaching or training in computer software and hardware on a 1:1 basis or small groups. You will be required to have worked with people with visual and learning impairments. You should be able to adapt to different situations to meet the needs of the customer and be able to devise an appropriate individual learning plan. Knowledge of specialist equipment and hardware such as ZoomText, JAWS, Dolphin Supernova, MS office Suite, Claro Read would be an advantage.
