NHS Ayrshire & Arran has a requirement for a Technical Support – Telecommunications person to work within our Digital Services Department within the Corporate Services Directorate.
Responsible to the Telecomms and Desktop Manager and Technical Specialist - Telecommunications, the role is to provide a comprehensive 1
st and 2nd line technical and admin support service for Telecommunications within NHS Ayrshire & Arran.
The successful candidate must possess good communication and interpersonal skills, along with the ability to work autonomously and under pressure to meet deadlines. You will often work on their own initiative and would be expected to liaise with several NHS and external support colleagues on a regular basis.
You must also be enthusiastic and motivated and have a flexible approach to working, which includes unsociable hours and have a full unendorsed UK driving licence with access to own car for short business journeys between NHS Ayrshire & Arran sites.
The successful candidate will have a Professional qualification equivalent to HNC in Telecommunication or relevant experience within a healthcare IT environment. Be trained in Microsoft Windows 7 & 10 Office 2012 and Office 365. You should have a proven experience in Telecommunications, have an excellent understanding of the organisation’s goals and objectives and knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws.
