Kameo Recruitment is exclusively recruiting for a motivated Technical Support Engineer, to join a progressive Tech company, based in Cambridge. You will be joining a dynamic and results-orientated Engineering team.
The successful candidate will be the go-to person for troubleshooting issues related to the product range. You will be joining a business at the forefront of bringing emerging tech to the market, and your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring customers have a seamless experience with the products.

Duties and responsibilities of the Technical Support Engineer:
- Diagnosing and resolving technical issues
- Providing excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, answering product-related questions, and guiding customers through setup and usage processes
- Creating and maintaining technical documentation, including user manuals and knowledge-based articles, to help resolve issues
- Conducting remote troubleshooting sessions to analyse and resolve complex technical problems
- Collaborating with the product development team identifying any issues, and providing feedback
- Conducting training sessions for both customers and internal teams to enhance their understanding of products
- Identifying and documenting bugs and escalating them for resolution
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams
Requirements for the Technical Support Engineer:
- Approximately 1 year minimum experience within a commercial role/technical environment
- A good understanding of USB technology
- Fantastic customer service
- Ability to analyse and resolve problems systematically, identifying root causes and implementing solutions efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail
- Seeking an opportunity for professional growth and skill development
Desirable is:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Computer Sciences, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, etc
The ideal candidate will be passionate about technology and enjoy helping customers overcome technical challenges. Along with this, you will need to be a confident communicator and have a positive approach.
