Position Summary
This position is responsible to provide technical support for all products by solving problems, trouble shooting and working with customers to guide them to the best possible product solutions for their vibration or shock application. The position is also responsible for inspecting finished products, completing vibration surveys/ reports and engineered system designs and proposals.
Duties and Responsibilities, including but not limited to:
Provide technical support via phone, email, and blog for customers and sales team
Demonstrate expert knowledge and problem-solving skills in providing technical support for our extensive products portfolio
Communicate with contractors, consultants and end users and help specify proper isolation product for their application.
Design, size and provide customized vibration and shock control solutions using our products
Travel to customer facilities to perform vibration surveys
Analyse vibration data and write vibration survey reports
Communicate with outside sales, inside sales, manufacturing, marketing, and engineering as needed
Participate in trade shows and conferences as needed.
Perform presentations in front of peers, consultants, and architects
Install and conduct maintenance on isolation systems at customer facilities.
Inspect manufactured products per drawings and specifications.
Support the quality department from day-to-day activities
Required Skilled and Abilities
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering field
Minimum of 5 years’ experience as engineer or 10 years’ experience as technical
Experience in supporting technical products and services
Knowledge of using AutoCAD Mechanical Desktop software is a plus
Project Management experience preferred
Vibration and shock experience preferred
High level of computer literacy (Microsoft Office)
Effective technical and organization skills
Strong desire to help people with their technical questions
Strong communication skills, both written & verbal
Strong commitment to team success
Review of contract plans and specifications
Experience working with customers, vendors and with other departments
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £26,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
