This position is in our Elmira, ON office. During the training period, attendance on-site is required, with the possibility of a 50/50 hybrid split afterwards.
What you’ll do:
- Assist our customers with the initial installation of Home Hardware supported software and hardware products and provide support for ongoing updates to our products.
- Research and document store suggestions for enhancements in Infrastructure and Security applications software products.
- Assist Home stores in maintaining computer hardware and operating systems supporting our products.
- Provide after-hours support for Home Hardware stores.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to prioritize and react to changing situations.
- Retail and customer service experience.
- Knowledge of Home Hardware systems, and familiarity with Windows, SUSE Linux operating systems is an asset.
- Strong service orientation, ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and coaching skills, as well as a desire to learn are definite assets.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced office environment and able to prioritize work.
- Willingness and ability to work flexible hours and overtime when required.
- Accounting and technical knowledge an asset.
- Fluency in oral and written French is an asset.
