Job description
Sodexo Live! at Newcastle United Football Club, St. James' Park are currently looking to recruit for Technical Support Assistant - liaise with meeting and events team regarding AV requirements, suggest and make recommendations for guest. Delivering the highest standard of service for guest satisfaction and adhering to health and safety, required to work time under pressure and meet deadlines.
Main Responsibilities- To assist with the setup and derigging of on site AV equipment.
- To check any pre-booked AV equipment is in full and correct working order ahead of meetings and events.
- To complete all necessary microphone and PA system checks ahead of matchday fixtures.
- To assist with AV stocktakes and electrical checks.
- To assist with the ordering of AV equipment from external suppliers as necessary.
- To ensure that any hired AV equipment is used according to guidelines and stored securely and safely at all
- times.
- To liaise with the meetings and events sales team regarding AV requirements and logistics for future
- bookings, ensuring good customer relations prevail at all times.
- To ensure the meetings and events sales team are provided with technical information and specifications
- To troubleshoot, and deal with guest queries as necessary.
- Experience of working within a large operation with high volume meetings and events and match day operations
