Job description
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience in architecture and developing software for scalable, distributed enterprise systems in the cloud.
- Experience in one or more software development languages (e.g., Python, Go, C++, Java).
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with network engineering in the Telecommunication industry, including design, deployment, operations, and troubleshooting.
- Experience with virtualization platforms such as Network Functions Virtualization Infrastructure (NFVi) using openstack, kubernetes for telco or large enterprise solutions.
- Experience in communication technologies such as wireline or 4G, 5G mobile technologies.
- Ability to design and develop integrations between Google products and third-parties.

Responsibilities
- Execute customer-facing incubation and integration of Telco products and solutions in both customer and partner environments through collaboration, design partnerships, proof-of-concept and pilots.
- Utilize service provider networking skills at professional level and knowledge of L2/L3 switching and routing protocols (e.g., OSPF, BGP, MPLS).
- Manage and deploy containerized workloads on Google Kubernetes Engine, and demonstrate understanding on Google Cloud networking technologies such as cloud VPN, interconnect, and configurations using kubectl, Google Cloud.
- Act as a technical lead for mobility and cloud projects for Communication Service Providers (CSP) or large enterprises.
- Lead system design to develop technical solutions aligned to business goals.
