Technical Sales Engineer - Internal
A great opportunity to join a global player at the very top of its game. For several decades this company has been designing and developing new RF test systems . With a focus on EMC (Electromagnetic Compatibility) it quickly became the “go to” organisation for advice and guidance on many of the products in its sector.
Today, the organisation is as strong as it’s ever been and still looking to implement new designs to assist its vast network of followers in the RF and EMC sectors.
The Internal Sales Engineer position would be a wonderful opportunity for an EMC or RF test Technician/engineer who is looking to break into a more commercially focused position.
You will be the technical and commercial interface of the company, listening and assisting customers with the support of the companies European and US based experts.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to:
- Customers
- Sales team
- Application Engineers
- Service team
- Prepare quotations and proposals
- Maintain sales pipeline and reports utilising the company CRM
- Prospecting potential new customers
- Assist with all marketing activities
- Keep up to date with market trends and competitor information
The Person:
- A good background in an RF discipline, preferably EMC
- Great communication skills
- Good listener
- A positive “can do” approach
- Good social skills
- A relationship builder
- Great team player
