Due to exciting growth, we wish to recruit a Technical Sales Representative to join our award-winning business. Based in France, the role supports the European, Middle Eastern, African and Indian (EMEAI) territories for Neogen, a top performing NASDAQ listed business employing around 1,800 people worldwide.
Neogen specialises in solutions for animal and food safety offering a diverse range of products and services for the agriculture, animal protein, food and beverage industries.
This role will be responsible for maximising sales of Food Safety products within the assigned territory based upon a combination of selling skills and use of supporting resources.
Essential duties and responsibilities include:
- Responsible for management and business growth throughout the assigned territory for all Neogen food Safety products.
- Develop and generate sales to meet or exceed budget sales revenues for products.
- Help devise and implement a business plan for this territory based upon business requirements.
- Support, drive and generate new business with existing direct accounts, looking for opportunities to cross sell and grow business.
- Receive and respond rapidly to customer enquiries, using all resources available.
- Have an excellent understanding of the products and services supplied and the national requirements.
- Ability to run and demonstrate all test kits in front of potential customers.
- Be responsible for the first level of customer support regarding technical issues, complaints, and product applications.
- Extensive use of CRM providing updated and accurate information.
- Assist with general financial management of the territory, including setting budgets, obtaining forecasts, preparing reports as required.
Skills & experience required:
- Previous sales experience in technical sales or food related sales desirable.
- Life science, food related or other technical degree desirable.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written essential.
- Must be highly motivated, driven with excellent organisational skills and be able to work as part of a team, as well as on own initiative.
