Technical Sales Executive

Hydro International was established in 1994 and since this time the company has grown to become prominent leaders in the water and wastewater industry. We pride ourselves on a solution based, customer focus approach in offering turn-key projects to the municipal and industrial sectors. In addition to design, build, operation and maintenance capabilities Hydro International also has an extensive off-site manufacturing and innovation facility based in Navan, Co. Meath. This facility supports our Design for Manufacture and Assembly (DfMA) function as well as our machine building capabilities for water/wastewater treatment and dewatering. The business has extensive client base in the Industrial sector, particularly in food and beverage. We are seeking to expand our offerings into new sectors, including pharmaceutical and distillery.
The Role:
This position will promote, expand, maintain and implement all sales aspects of a wide variety of wastewater products for the industrial sector throughout the UK. The candidate will be required to engage with clients to ascertain current issues, advise on proposed solutions and to further develop out proposal documents. You will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with clients.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
The main duties and responsibilities of the technical sales candidate are outlined as follows:
- Build and maintain relationships with key clients and consultants.
- Assist the company in delivering key business targets and objectives according to Business Plan.
- Participate in site evaluations and prepare inclusive quotes that include scope of work, price estimates and contingencies.
- Grow new Business- attract large and high-profile prospects to further expand our client base.
- Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of the company’s available services, lines of business, pricing structures, and compile proposals for potential clients.
- Own and lead the customer experience by delivering sales and service solutions. Proactively communicate and promote all company services to the client from concept to contract signing.
- Review & summarise Technical Documentation to present to Tender Management team.
- Development and deliver sales presentations.
- Regular interaction with office process, tendering team, engineering staff and subcontractors.
- Report to Sales Director weekly on targets, objectives and results.
- Generate sales reports, forecasts and budgets.
- Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
- 10 + Years plus experience in sales in the industrial water and wastewater industry.
- Experience in Pharmaceutical sector and have the ability to access key decision makers in blue chip clients.
- Candidate should possess a high degree of technical competence in wastewater treatment systems.
- Desire to work in a fast paced, highly regulated, and technical industry.
- Highly motivated, reliable, and accountable.
- Excellent technical writing skills, formatting skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work too hard deadlines.
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills
- Good working knowledge of MS packages such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Focused, organised & highly motivated.
- Full driving licence
- Ability to travel Nationwide within the UK to fulfil role.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £35,000.00-£55,000.00 per year
