Due to business expansion we are looking for a Technical research and writing assistant to join our dedicated development team on a 12 month fixed term contract, beginning April 2023. This is a remote working role. You will work 20 hours per week, ideally over 5 days between 8am – 6pm, although the exact pattern of work can be discussed and agreed with the Learning Development Specialist.

Responsibilities;
- Researching regulations, industry best practice and relevant sources to assist in the development of course and assessment materials.
- Assessment and learning content development using text, video & graphical content.
- Liaising with customers and SMEs to ensure content is accurate and up to date.
- Analysing learner feedback to improve content.
- Evaluating and revising content to ensure it remains up to date and aligned with best practice and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborating with team members and the wider company to contribute to company and individual success.

The successful candidate will have the following (essential):
- Effective researching skills
- Good writing skills, great grammar, spelling and punctuation.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.

- Good computer skills, proficient using the key Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Strong attention to detail.
- Flexible and adaptable – able to jump easily from one project to another.
- A friendly and confident personality with great telephone manner.
- A quick learner and keen to develop.
You might also have the following (desirable):
- Experience with eLearning authoring tools such as Articulate Rise, Storyline etc.
- Experience of working in a technical/regulated industry.
- Experience of working in transport, warehousing and logistics.
- Experience working in apprenticeship end-point assessment development.
