At PwC, we acknowledge that skills are agile and will continue to change and develop. We’re hiring individuals who are looking to make a return to work and are seeking an opportunity to upskill themselves to become a Technical Project Manager within our Operate Digital team in Glasgow.
No previous technical experience is required. We’ll support you in the transition into the workplace by providing approximately 2 months of protected time for technical training to kickstart your development journey. You’ll also have a chance to become certified before you move into your role. You’ll join the team alongside a community of other returners and will work within Operate’s Technical Project Management team.
This role and tech training programme is designed for women looking to enter or return to the workplace however, we do accept applications from everyone.
About the team
Operate Digital is the central function that creates and runs technology. We also transform the way our clients use technology in delivering assets across a wide range of business processes. Working with industry leading, alliance partners across architecture, development, and multiple other technologies, we interact with all technology platforms and provide tangible technology delivery at scale.
Skills and experience
You’ll have previous Project Management experience
A keen interest in Technology as we’ll support you to build on your knowledge
Excellent project planning skills with experience of delivering multiple projects concurrently
Ability to work to deadlines and effectively manage workload
Key responsibilities
The responsibilities of each role will vary depending on client needs but will include:
owning projects throughout the full lifecycle from inception to delivery to include; building and delivering the project plan and managing project resources
supporting stakeholder management
continually identifying, prioritising, and mitigating project risks and issues
managing project costs and budget (includes related scope control)
managing projects (including roll-outs) for the firm’s strategic technologies alliances including SAP, Workday and Oracle
providing a collaborative and performance driven environment.
