Job Description:
Our Project Management practice group is currently seeking a Senior IT Project Manager who has strong experience in Application/Oracle integrations to support one of our global Healthcare devices/Life Science clients, based out of Arlington, TN.
In this role, the Senior IT Project Manager will be responsible for Applications/Oracle implementations. A successful candidate would leverage effective project management practices, working collaboratively with various divisions and cross functional teams globally while delivering cost-effective implementation exceeding stakeholder expectations.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Lead the project using Project Management Governance
Independently Lead the detailed planning and management of the project from inception to project completion
Manager Oracle and Application integrations
Stakeholder communication and presentation experience
Manage scope, budget, and schedule for project success.
Create, maintain, and share all project related documents like charter, plan, risk register, issue list, presentations etc.
Establish cadence and project status communications with stakeholders
Manage the Change Control process for assigned projects
Ensure project milestones and targets are met by actively managing project on a day to day basis through appropriate resource, issue, and risk management
Ensure appropriate tools and techniques are available and employed by the project team to enable them to meet their assigned objectives successfully
Track and manage project actuals against established budgets
Estimate project tasks and ensure budget / appropriation requests are submitted and approved
Successfully deliver assigned projects to targets (on time, on budget, and in scope)
Lead cross-functional team meetings and ensure capture of discussion points and action items
Comply with company's Global IT Policies & Procedures
Basic Qualifications
Minimum 10 years of experience as IT project manager managing Software Development full life cycle development and integration projects
Oracle Experience a plus
Bachelor's degree in Management or Computer Science is preferred
PMP Certification a plus
Experience in Manufacturing Life Science
Able to travel to office location for major milestones
Preferred Experience and Skills:
Proven ability to support/manage the translation business requirements into systems level requirements
Experience with application integrations
Proven ability to take ownership of complex cross organizational issues and drive them to closure
Strong project management skills required, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements
Oracle implementation experience
Demonstrates self-discipline and motivation in all aspects of job performance
Strong organizational Skills
Ability to communicate technical concepts to technical and non-technical audience
Able to complete assignment with minimal direction
Must be able to work in a high-pressure team environment, handle multiple tasks and react quickly to networking problems and issues
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, and subject matter experts
Strong client support orientation
Knowledge in Logistics is a plus
Job Type: Contract
Salary: $60.00 - $62.00 per hour
