Responsibilities

• Providing Government unique market, customer and partner insights to engineering teams to ensure Azure services best support the mission needs of the defence, government, and mission partners.
• Working closely with engineering teams to understand the Government needs, remove adoption blockers, and to ensure the smooth operations of running the day-to-day services.
• Providing technical support and expertise in conjunction with Azure engineering teams to ensure customer needs and requirements are planned and executed in alignment with customer driven priorities.
• Working closely with Azure engineering, operations teams and other internal Microsoft teams to plan and track the delivery of features, capabilities and operational systems.
• Being the bridge for the Azure software engineering teams with unique market, customer and partner insights in the government market that make our services the ideal solution for government mission scenarios and its enabling partners.

Qualifications

• Highly effective communication and collaboration with customers, partners and across teams
• Technical aptitude in Azure cloud service design, architecture, software development and operations.
• 7+ years of experience supporting and leading mission programs in the Defence and/or National Security Communities. A deep understanding of these mission requirements and their mapping to technology.
• 7+ years of experience in Defence and National Security systems design, development, management, or deployment
• 7+ years in a position requiring program management, consultancy, engineering, cloud or government experience.
• End-to-end ownership of commitments with the ability to break down ambiguous problems.
• BS or Master’s Degree in computer science or a related field or equivalent experience

• Candidates must have an active security clearance at the appropriate level will require candidates to upgrade and/or maintain the clearance appropriate to the mission requirements.
• Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
