But….we make more than just fries! Our Hull factory is where we produce all our cheese based appetisers. From Halloumi Sticks to Chilli Cheese Bites... it has just 3 production lines, but don't be fooled as what it lacks in size, it makes up for in pace and personality, supplying thousands of products each day.


As Technical Operator it's your job to...


effectively and efficiently operate machinery ensuring area performance and GMP is optimised and in line with business requirements and that Quality and Food Safety standards are followed at all times.


Responsibilities and Accountabilities


Carry out start up checks for all equipment, continually monitor and carry out any adjustments as required for efficient running. Calibrating, fault finding and rectifying as required
Continually monitor and carry out tests to determine if area quality is being achieved, taking preventative or corrective action when appropriate and informing all applicable parties. Input traceability production run data into computer system as required
Contribute to risk assessments, audits, and the development and improvement of quality controls
Understand and operate equipment for the area as per Standard Work Methods
Ensures all consumables for the area are appropriate and available within work area
Ensures that all personal protective equipment is maintained in good condition, i.e. safety clothing, eye protection, face visors, gloves, footwear, headgear etc.
Ensure that the area is maintained to 5s, Health & Safety and Hygiene standards at all times
Maintain and be actively involved in all continuous improvement activities including SQDC, Kaizen’s, RCA & (A3’s) to minimize waste
Be trained and cover in other roles as and when required to meet the demands of the business
Assist with training new operatives to the area
Carry out any reasonable additional duties as and when requested
