Position: Technical Manager (External Wall Insulation Systems)
Location: Golborne, Greater Manchester, WA3 3GS
Position Type: Permanent Position, Full Time 40 hours per week
Salary: TBC
Company Overview: Wetherby Building Systems is a market leader of the technical development, manufacture
& supply of external wall insulation systems, through-colour renders, decorative coatings and brick slip systems.
We are looking to recruit a Technical Manager.
Main Job Description:
- Preparing U-Value calculations for existing buildings and new build projects.
- Preparing system specifications and project packs for various External Wall and Internal Wall insulation systems.
- Technical support to 9 area Sales Managers and 8 area Technical Site Managers in the company.
- Good technical knowledge of construction. Knowledge in external wall cladding and rendered systems would be an advantage but not essential, full training will be given.
- Advise clients on choosing materials to meet their criteria.
- Ability to communicate and explain technical products and systems by telephone.
- Liaising with customers, clients and contractors.
- Represent the company in a professional manner.
- Knowledge of CAD would be advantageous.
Person Specification:
- Proven experience preferred.
- Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must have good IT skills and able to use Microsoft Office software as a minimum.
- Qualification in a construction related subject is advantageous.
