Position: Technical Manager (External Wall Insulation Systems)
Location: Golborne, Greater Manchester, WA3 3GS
Position Type: Permanent Position, Full Time 40 hours per week
Salary: TBC

Company Overview: Wetherby Building Systems is a market leader of the technical development, manufacture
& supply of external wall insulation systems, through-colour renders, decorative coatings and brick slip systems.
We are looking to recruit a Technical Manager.

Main Job Description:

  • Preparing U-Value calculations for existing buildings and new build projects.
  • Preparing system specifications and project packs for various External Wall and Internal Wall insulation systems.
  • Technical support to 9 area Sales Managers and 8 area Technical Site Managers in the company.
  • Good technical knowledge of construction. Knowledge in external wall cladding and rendered systems would be an advantage but not essential, full training will be given.
  • Advise clients on choosing materials to meet their criteria.
  • Ability to communicate and explain technical products and systems by telephone.
  • Liaising with customers, clients and contractors.
  • Represent the company in a professional manner.
  • Knowledge of CAD would be advantageous.

Person Specification:

  • Proven experience preferred.
  • Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Must have good IT skills and able to use Microsoft Office software as a minimum.
  • Qualification in a construction related subject is advantageous.
