The roles are varied but the challenge is always the same: to develop and improve every grade of steel, so that it’s ready to meet the challenges of every possible application, from electrical use to aerospace and beyond.


Technical excellence is at the heart of everything we do, underpinning areas including product development, asset development, quality assurance, metallurgical investigations and customer support.


The Candidate

You must have at least a 2:1 in an Engineering or Science based Bachelor’s Degree.


It would be advantageous, but not essential, for the candidate to have knowledge / experience of the following:

  • Steel casting and rolling processes
  • Welding processes
  • Heat treatment
  • Mechanical testing
  • Data analytics
  • Some working experience as part of an industrial placement

The Graduate Programme

  • Cross functional working with upstream operations and support functions such as R&D
  • Project management
  • HFI pipe manufacture
