As the Technical Designer, you will contribute to Laura's success by collaborating with Designers and Category Managers and producing Tech-Packs showing garment engineering for each style to ensure executable creation of samples.
How will you support the team?
- Create domestic and import Tech-Packs.
- Sketch styles using Illustrator.
- Request all fabric and style numbers for import and domestic.
- Prepare all Tech-Packs for hand-offs to Import Coordinators.
- Fabric follow-up, initial price, sampling, trim, etc. with vendor (necessary information to start the concept/collection).
- Work with Designer to create, execute and maintain collection boards (Illustrator & InDesign).
- Ensure all documents are up to date.
- Research trims, special construction of a garment, embroideries if needed and provide trend ideas to the Designer.
- Measure original samples when needed.
- Create initial specs when needed.
- Comment on proto samples when needed.

- A degree in Fashion Design
- 3 to 5 years experience in a similar position
- Bilingual in French and English
- Experience with Adobe Illustrator
- A strong knowledge of fabrics and trims
- Knowledge of garment engineering
- A passion for fashion
