About The Role

To work with business stakeholders, requestors and technical teams to map, analyse and document business requirements, defining and translating complex logic into an unambiguous form and supporting through to solution delivery.

Engage with third parties (suppliers and customers) to determine requirements for the team as part of an onboarding process or change.

Educating the business on the impact their actions at the front-end have on back-end.

Key Responsibilities:

Defining, analysing and documenting requirements to determine what the end product needs to deliver.

During requirements gathering and analysis:

  • Own and drive requirements gathering in line with business priorities and levels of documentation.
  • Be analytical in assessing issues and use logical thinking/technical knowledge/experience in order to overcome.
  • Work with stakeholders/requestors using MoSCoW prioritisation techniques as well as defining acceptance criteria.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure requirements are understood and any ambiguity is addressed.
  • Determine and highlight any potential impacts of changes being introduced.
  • Have an appreciation of the capabilities of what the team can deliver to help influence solutions and drive engagement.

Communicating complex concepts and methodologies to stakeholders with varied levels of seniority and experience

About You

Key Skills:

  • Ability to quickly understand business systems and processes.
  • Clear and concise communication, both written and verbal with the ability to articulate complex logic in a simple to understand form for business users.
  • Ability to influence key stakeholders to support proposed strategies, process improvements and operational decisions.
  • Strong organisation and data analysis skills.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritise, and manage time to tight deadlines.
  • Ability to seek low level requirements and logic to determine the granular

Knowledge:

  • Detailed knowledge of requirements definition; requirements management, solution processes and associated techniques in line with waterfall or agile delivery methods.
  • Technical or Data related background or understanding.

Experience:

  • Recognised Business Analysis related certification/qualification(s)
