Business Analyst

Vodafone UK Digital is midway through an exciting digital transformation. The groundwork has been put in place for teams to excel in. We need a Business Analyst who can perform the Business Analyst function across several scrum teams and engage with stakeholders through the wider business. The BA will have a broad and exciting remit to drive Agile culture within their scrum teams and beyond. You will be work closely with Developers, Product Owners, Product Managers, Scrum masters, and Agile leads to understand problems and break down work in order to build collaborative solutions.

What will you be doing?
You will be responsible for eliciting and refining business needs into functional and non-functional requirements documented intAzure DevOps Board Epics, Features and User Stories- You will be responsible for leading the output an Agile development team. This includes business stakeholder engagement, prioritisation SAFe PI planning, progress reporting, and final sign-off of deliverable
- You will be accountable for prioritising a development teams backlog, in line with the broader priorities of the business
- You will contribute to the improving of the BA function and role across VF Digital UK through example, and through engagement with all Digital teams
- You will encourage Agile ways of working, coaching teams in best refinement practices, in both your own teams and in partnership with other teams
Who are we looking for?
You will be able to comprehend, interrogate, and gain insight into architectural models, processes and communications (microservices, cloud architecture, etc)- You will have in-depth knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies.
- You will work as Business Analyst and team leader on several Agile, Waterfall, SAFe project teams, offshore and onsite.
- You will be familiar with the transaction methods common to software development: APIs, XML, JSON, REST, Message Queues, etc as well as being familiar with server-side architecture
- You will be able to create additional documentation materials, such as wireframes and flow documents.
